  He squeezed her hand. “What is it, my love?”

  “Will ye promise that when we have put this all o’ this behind us, that ye’ll go wi’ me to the meadow where as a child I used to dream? I want to try to have some of those dreams again.”

  Rolf rose from the chair, pulling her to her feet. He drew her into his embrace, holding her tight against his chest, her soft hair brushing against his cheek. “I can easily keep that promise. I think, my love, it’s long past time we start making your dreams come true.”

  About the Author

  Julie Moffett is a bestselling author and writes in the genres of historical romance, paranormal romance and mystery. She has won numerous awards, including the prestigious PRISM Award for Best Romantic Time-Travel and Best of the Best Paranormal Books of 2002.   Julie is a military brat (Air Force) and has traveled extensively.
